INTRODUCTION :
Vevox is a tool that allows participants to vote on live polls and ask questions. Organizers can view results instantly, allowing for better feedback and communication with attendees.
Vevox est une application d’engagement du public en temps réel pour le lieu de travail et les cours. Vevox vous permettre de faire participer tout le monde et découvrez ce qu’ils pensent.
FREE VERSION LIMITATIONS:
- A maximum of 100 can participate in an online session,
- You can only use the two question types below:
- Multiple/single-choice. In the case of multiple-choice, the correct answers have the same weight. You can also indicate that there are 2 or 3 correct answers.
- word cloud.
- The PowerPoint plugin is only available to Windows users.
FEATURES:
- An online session can have an infinite number of questions.
- You can use Vevox in a channel in your class on Teams and in a chat with 1 or more participants
SCÉNARIO 1 : UTILISATION DE L’APPLICATION VEVOX DANS UN CANAL/CONVERSATION
If you wish at any time to have the opinion of the students about anything, or to have their feedback, you can use the Vevox application in a channel (private or standard) of your class on Teams or in a conversation by following these steps:
A. Ajout un onglet de l’application Vevox dans un canal (idem pour conversation):
- Cliquez sur le canal Général (ou bien sur la conversation), ou n’importe quel canal (standard ou privé), de votre équipe en question,
- Cliquez sur l’icône (+) Ajouter un onglet
- Dans la zone de recherche, saisissez vevox et puis cliquez sur l’application vevox
B. Configuration de l’application Vevox:
- Insérer le ID Meeting qui est composé de 9 chiffres numériques
- Si vous voulez envoyer une notification aux membres de votre classe Teams, cochez la case Publier dans le canal sur cet onglet
- Cliquez sur le bouton save changes
SCÉNARIO 2 : UTILISATION DE L’APPLICATION VEVOX DURANT UNE RÉUNION EN LIGNE
Note : Jusqu’au aujourd’hui l’application Vevox est disponible uniquement pour les réunions en ligne et non pas pour les sessions en ligne de votre classe sur Teams.
If you wish during an online meeting to do a survey or to have feedback, you can use the Vevox application during this online meeting by following the following steps:
- Il faut tout d’abord planifier une session en ligne.
Note : dans la planification, il ne faut pas choisir un canal. Si vous choisissez un canal, vous ne pouvez pas ajouter l’application vevox. - Une fois planifier la session, il faut cliquez sur la session et puis cliquez sur le bouton « Modifier ».
- Cliquez sur l’icône « Ajouter un onglet » et puis suivez les mêmes étapes présentées dans scénario 1.

SCENARIO 1: USING THE VEVOX APP IN A CHANNEL/CONVERSATION

A. Adding a Vevox application tab in a channel (same for conversation):
- Click on the channel General (or on the conversation), or any channel (standard or private), of your team,
- Click the (+) Add a tab icon
- In the search box, type vevox and then click on the vevox application
B. Vevox Application Setup:
- Insert the Meeting ID which is composed of 9 numerical digits
- If you want to send a notification to your Teams class members, check the box Post to channel on this tab
- Click on the button Save
SCENARIO 2: USING THE VEVOX APP DURING AN ONLINE MEETING
Note: Until today the Vevox app is only available for online meetings and not for your online class sessions on Teams.
If you wish during an online meeting to do a survey or to have feedback, you can use the Vevox application during this online meeting by following the following steps:
- You must first plan an online session.
Note: in planning, you do not have to choose a channel. If you choose a channel, you cannot add the Vevox app.
- Click on the “Add a tab” icon and then follow the same steps presented in Scenario 1.
