À l’occasion de la Journée scientifique de la Faculté des sciences infirmières de l’USJ, organisée le 24 juin 2025 sur le campus des sciences médicales, Mme Wadad Wazen Gergy, Directrice du Centre de l’Innovation Numérique et de l’Intelligence Artificielle (CINIA), a animé la première table ronde intitulée : « Intelligence artificielle et collaboration en santé : opportunités, défis et transformations ».

Réunissant des personnalités de premier plan du secteur hospitalier : Dr Nassib Nasr, Dr César Yaghi, Mme Cynthia Abi Khalil et M. Hisham Badawi, cette table ronde a permis d’ouvrir un dialogue riche sur l’impact croissant de l’intelligence artificielle dans les environnements cliniques et les pratiques de soins. Les intervenants ont exploré les conditions d’une collaboration interprofessionnelle réussie à l’ère des technologies émergentes, tout en soulignant les enjeux éthiques, organisationnels et humains que soulève cette transition.

Par sa modération dynamique et structurée, Mme Wazen Gergy a su créer un espace de réflexion éclairé, favorisant la rencontre entre les mondes de l’innovation numérique et de la pratique hospitalière.

Cette initiative s’inscrit pleinement dans la mission de l’USJ de promouvoir une approche responsable, collaborative et humaniste de l’innovation en santé.

As part of the Scientific Day organized by the Faculty of Nursing at Saint Joseph University of Beirut (USJ) on June 24, 2025, Mrs. Wadad Wazen Gergy, Director of the Center for Digital Innovation and Artificial Intelligence (CINIA), moderated the event’s opening roundtable titled: “Artificial Intelligence and Collaboration in Healthcare: Opportunities, Challenges, and Transformations.”

Bringing together prominent figures from the hospital sector, Dr. Nassib Nasr, Dr. Cesar Yaghi, Ms. Cynthia Abi Khalil, and Mr. Hisham Badawi, the roundtable sparked a rich and insightful discussion on the growing impact of artificial intelligence in clinical environments and healthcare practices.

Panelists explored the prerequisites for successful interprofessional collaboration in the era of emerging technologies, while addressing the ethical, organizational, and human challenges that come with this transformation.

Through her dynamic and well-structured moderation, Mrs. Wazen Gergy fostered a space for thoughtful dialogue, bridging the worlds of digital innovation and hospital practice.
