In observance of the month dedicated to raising awareness about the proper use of artificial intelligence tools, Mrs. Wadad Gergy Wazen, Head of the New Educational Technologies Unit, hosted the inaugural virtual meeting on Wednesday, 7th June 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, titled "AI: Let's Talk About It!"
Throughout the session, versatile AI tools were showcased, highlighting their utility in diverse fields. Mrs. Wadad Wazen Gergy and Mr. Mario Gharib also presented specialized tools tailored to each field, demonstrating how AI could be effectively integrated to support student-centered learning and assessment, aid teaching professionals, and facilitate educational institution management.
The participants actively engaged in the session by asking questions and sharing their experiences and ideas, emphasizing the significance of using AI responsibly and ethically in an educational environment. The feedback from the attendees was overwhelmingly positive and encouraging.
The New Educational Technologies Unit (UNTE) remains committed to exploring the potential of AI and sharing valuable findings and best practices with the academic community. Together, we will continue to shape the future of education through AI.
