The Head of the New Technologies Unit “UNTE” at Saint-Joseph University of Beirut (USJ) Mrs. Wadad Wazen Gergy participated through virtual means in the 4th Middle East & North Africa Conference for Information System (MENACIS) held on 11-14 November 2021 in Agadir, Morocco. The main theme of the conference was “Covid-19 in Education: Lessons Learned and Best Practices”.
The interactive hybrid conference, aimed to reflect on innovative research in information systems from the point of view of a rapidly changing world, highlighted the importance of new educational practices and techniques that have been applied in the past two years due to the pandemic despite the shortcomings of virtual education. Participants also discussed the sustainability of these practices (whether they will continue to be applied in the post-pandemic era).
