Dans le cadre de son engagement à promouvoir l’intégration des technologies avancées dans l’enseignement et la recherche, le Centre de l’innovation numérique et de l’intelligence artificielle (CINIA) a été sollicité par la Faculté des sciences infirmières (FSI) de l’Université Saint-Joseph de Beyrouth pour animer une formation spécialisée de trois heures, le vendredi 10 octobre 2025.

Cette session, organisée à la demande de la Doyenne de la FSI, a réuni seize étudiants-chercheurs autour d’un atelier pratique consacré à l’ingénierie des prompts et à l’utilisation des outils d’intelligence artificielle générative. L’objectif de cette formation était de permettre aux participants de découvrir les concepts clés de l’ingénierie des prompts, de concevoir des requêtes adaptées à leurs besoins académiques, et d’explorer les applications concrètes de l’IA générative dans l’enseignement et la production académique, tout en respectant les principes éthiques et déontologiques liés à son usage.

Animé par la Directrice du CINIA, Madame Wadad Wazen Gergy, cet atelier a mis l’accent sur une approche à la fois expérimentale et réflexive, permettant aux chercheurs d’expérimenter divers outils d’IA tels que ChatGPT, Elicit, ou encore NotebookLM, TurboScribe, etc. tout en s’interrogeant sur les enjeux de transparence, d’équité et de responsabilité dans l’utilisation de ces technologies.

En répondant aux besoins croissants du monde académique, CINIA réaffirme ainsi son rôle clé dans l’accompagnement des chercheurs vers une utilisation éclairée, performante et responsable de l’intelligence artificielle, au service de la recherche à l’USJ.

As part of its commitment to promoting the integration of advanced technologies in teaching and research, the Center for Digital Innovation and Artificial Intelligence (CINIA) was invited by the Faculty of Nursing Sciences (FSI) at Saint Joseph University of Beirut to conduct a specialized three-hour training session on Friday, October 10, 2025.

Organized at the request of the Dean of the Faculty, the session brought together sixteen student- researchers for a hands-on workshop focused on prompt engineering and the use of generative artificial intelligence tools. The objective of the training was to help participants identify the key concepts of prompt engineering, design queries tailored to their academic needs, and explore concrete applications of generative AI in teaching and academic production — all while observing the ethical and professional principles associated with its use.

Led by Mrs. Wadad Wazen Gergy, Director of CINIA, the workshop emphasized an experiential and reflective approach, enabling participants to experiment with various AI tools such as ChatGPT, Elicit, NotebookLM, TurboScribe, and others, while reflecting on the challenges of transparency, equity, and responsibility inherent to the use of these technologies.

By responding to the growing needs of the academic community, CINIA once again reaffirms its pivotal role in supporting researchers toward an informed, efficient, and responsible use of artificial intelligence in the service of research and innovation at USJ.
