Le Centre de l’innovation numérique et de l’intelligence artificielle (CINIA) de l’Université Saint-Joseph de Beyrouth a été invité à participer à la 9e édition d’EDUTECH, conférence organisée par le Secrétariat Général des Écoles Catholiques. Invitée à participer à un panel central, Madame Wadad Wazen Gergy, Directrice du CINIA, a partagé sa vision et son expertise autour d’un thème résolument tourné vers l’avenir : « De la craie aux chatbots ».

Les 8 et 9 mai 2025, dans un contexte où l’intelligence artificielle s’impose comme un levier incontournable de transformation pédagogique, son intervention s’est concentrée sur trois questions fondamentales qui interrogent en profondeur les pratiques éducatives actuelles. Comment réinventer nos modes d’accompagnement pour répondre aux besoins spécifiques de chaque apprenant ? Comment tirer parti de la personnalisation que permet l’IA, tout en garantissant l’équité, l’éthique et la confiance ? Et, plus largement, quel sera le rôle de l’enseignant dans ce nouvel environnement technologique en constante évolution ?

Dans un échange dynamique et inspirant, Madame Wazen a mis en lumière les outils technopédagogiques pour aider les enseignants à adapter leurs pratiques, tout en préservant la dimension humaine au cœur de l’acte éducatif. À travers des exemples concrets et des pistes d’action, elle a démontré que l’intelligence artificielle, lorsqu’elle est bien intégrée, peut renforcer l’impact pédagogique, enrichir les expériences d’apprentissage et favoriser une éducation plus inclusive.

On May 8 and 9, 2025, in a context where artificial intelligence is becoming a pivotal driver of pedagogical transformation, her intervention focused on three fundamental questions that deeply challenge current educational practices. How can we reinvent our methods of support to meet the specific needs of each learner? How can we leverage the personalization made possible by AI while ensuring equity, ethics, and trust? And more broadly, what will be the teacher’s role in this ever-evolving technological environment?

In a dynamic and inspiring exchange, Mrs. Wazen highlighted edtech tools that can help teachers adapt their practices while preserving the human dimension at the heart of the educational act. CINIA’s participation in this conference reaffirms its leading role in advancing the reflection and implementation of responsible AI integration in education across Lebanon. EDUTECH 2025 thus marks a key milestone in the ongoing dialogue between technological innovation and educational humanism.
