Dans le cadre de la collaboration continue entre l’Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) et l’Université Saint-Joseph de Beyrouth (USJ), une réunion de travail s’est tenue le vendredi 11 avril 2025, réunissant Madame Omneya Shaker, Responsable régionale du numérique à l’AUF, Monsieur Lassaad Mezghani, Directeur de l’Institut de la formation à distance de la Francophonie (IFIC), et Madame Wadad Wazen Gergy, Directrice du Centre d’Innovation et de l’Intelligence Artificielle (CINIA).

Cette rencontre a permis d’échanger sur l’état des projets numériques et d’identifier de nouvelles pistes de collaboration. Les discussions ont notamment porté sur les synergies entre l’expertise de l’Institut de la formation à distance de la Francophonie (IFIC)et celle du CINIA en matière de transformation numérique des formations.

Les partenaires ont également exploré des opportunités de collaboration dans les domaines de la recherche et de l’innovation techno-pédagogique, ainsi que sur le développement d’outils et de plateformes technologiques au service de l’enseignement supérieur et de la formation continue.

Cette réunion s’inscrit dans une volonté commune de renforcer l’innovation et l’agilité numérique au sein des établissements membres de l’AUF et de consolider un écosystème francophone engagé dans la modernisation des pratiques éducatives.

As part of the ongoing collaboration between the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) and Saint Joseph University of Beirut (USJ), a working meeting was held on Friday, April 11, 2025, bringing together Ms. Omneya Shaker, Regional Digital Officer at the AUF, Mr. Lassaad Mezghani, Director of the Francophone Institute for Distance Education (IFIC), and Ms. Wadad Wazen Gergy, Director of the Center for Innovation and Artificial Intelligence (CINIA).

This meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the progress of digital projects and to identify new avenues for collaboration. The discussions particularly focused on the synergies between the expertise of the Francophone Institute for Distance Education (IFIC) and that of CINIA in the area of digital transformation of education and training programs.

The partners also explored collaboration opportunities in the fields of research and techno-pedagogical innovation, as well as the development of technological tools and platforms dedicated to higher education and continuing training.

This meeting reflects a shared commitment to fostering innovation and digital agility within AUF member institutions, and to strengthening a Francophone ecosystem engaged in the modernization of educational practices.
