L’AUF Moyen-Orient a récemment organisé une série de formations en présentiel sur l’intelligence artificielle (IA) au Centre d’Employabilité francophone de l’Agence Universitaire Francophone AUF de Beyrouth. Animées par Madame Wadad Wazen Gergy, Directrice du Centre de l’innovation numérique et de l’intelligence artificielle, ces sessions ont offert un cadre d’apprentissage interactif et enrichissant, permettant aux participants d’explorer l’impact de l’IA dans divers domaines. Elles ont également constitué une occasion d’aborder les défis, les risques et les enjeux éthiques liés à son utilisation croissante.

Deux ateliers ont marqué cette initiative. Le premier, organisé le mercredi 19 février 2025, portait sur l’introduction à l’intelligence artificielle. Il avait pour objectif de familiariser les participants avec les concepts fondamentaux de l’IA et de leur présenter des outils facilitant l’organisation d’activités et de projets. La session a également permis d’examiner les enjeux éthiques et les risques associés à cette technologie, dans une optique de sensibilisation à une utilisation responsable et sécurisée.

Le second atelier, qui s’est tenu le mercredi 5 mars 2025, était consacré à la maîtrise des prompts. Il visait à apprendre aux participants à structurer efficacement leurs demandes à l’IA générative afin d’optimiser la pertinence des réponses obtenues. À travers une approche pratique, la formation leur a permis d’acquérir des techniques pour rédiger des prompts clairs et précis, adaptés à différents contextes.

Ces formations ont réuni plus de 50 participants issus de secteurs variés, notamment l’enseignement, la finance, l’entreprenariat et l’informatique. Elles ont constitué une opportunité pour approfondir les connaissances en intelligence artificielle et explorer ses applications pratiques dans des domaines professionnels diversifiés.

AUF Middle East recently organized a series of in-person training sessions on artificial intelligence (AI) at the Francophone University Agency (AUF) in Beirut. Led by Mrs. Wadad Wazen Gergy, Director of the Center for Digital Innovation and Artificial Intelligence, these sessions provided an interactive and enriching learning environment, allowing participants to explore the impact of AI across various fields. They also offered an opportunity to discuss the challenges, risks, and ethical issues associated with its growing use.

Two workshops were at the heart of this initiative. The first, held on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, focused on an introduction to artificial intelligence. Its objective was to familiarize participants with the fundamental concepts of AI and introduce them to tools that facilitate the organization of activities and projects. The session also examined the ethical considerations and risks associated with this technology, aiming to raise awareness of responsible and secure AI usage.

The second workshop, which took place on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, was dedicated to mastering prompts. It aimed to teach participants how to structure their requests to generative AI effectively to optimize the relevance of the responses obtained. Through a hands-on approach, the training enabled them to acquire techniques for crafting clear and precise prompts tailored to different contexts.

These training sessions brought together more than 50 participants from various sectors, including education, finance, entrepreneurship and information technology. They provided an opportunity to deepen knowledge in artificial intelligence and explore its practical applications in diverse professional fields.
