In December 2021, a significant article was published in “Best Practices in Jesuit Higher Education” journal, issue no.2.1 titled “Pedagogical Innovation and Ignatian Pedagogy.”
The section addressed several topics including the new challenges and obstacles emanating from the pandemic facing higher education and the world in general. These challenges have prompted all the institutions to question their teaching practices and conduct the required updates in order to be able to adapt to the new working conditions. The pedagogical project therefore has the aim of consolidating a common pedagogical culture in a university with a history of learning through the systemic articulation of different initiatives carried out according to a participatory approach. These initiatives are important, as is the approach that underpinned them and it is necessary above all to ponder over the collected evidence to undertake the appropriate evaluation. Finally, avenues for further reflection will be proposed.
