Mr. Mario Gharib, Administrator of Learning Platforms at UNTE at Saint-Joseph University of Beirut (USJ) attended a workshop organized by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) from 6 to 9 December 2021, at the Hilton Hotel in Jordan. The training focused on pedagogical engineering approaches for electronic education.
During the training, participants stressed that the COVID-19 outbreak and its repercussions have forced the transition to online learning in Jordan and around the world. This change has created different obstacles and difficulties for teachers as well as for students alike, therefore this initiative aims to encourage the implementation of an action plan that incorporates online and hybrid teaching in the higher education system.
